Basic psychology of family conflict and philosophy of family mediation. Analysis of key concepts, principles and importance of mediation in resolving family disputes.
Exploring the psychological and social consequences of divorce. Analysis of the Kübler-Ross model of loss acceptance and its application in the context of family mediation.
Overview of the methodology of conducting MIAMs with the parties to the conflict. Learning diagnostic and analysis techniques of family conflict, mapping paths and drawing up an ecogram of the family system.
A detailed study of the family mediation process: the main stages, goals and objectives of each stage. Methods of engaging participants in mediation and dealing with the parties' resistance.
Analysis of the role of third parties in family disputes, including extended family, friends and professionals. Learning methods of overcoming difficulties and strategies for finding a way out of impasse in mediation.

Author of the program
Tetiana Bilyk is an accredited international mediator (CEDR, UK, 2009; MiKK, Germany, 2022), trainer, and Chair of the Board of the NGO ITC "Mediation School". She is also the Chair of the Board of the NGO "Ukrainian Mediators League" and co-founder and Chair of the Supervisory Board of the NGO "Association of Family Mediators of Ukraine".
She serves as the representative of ISS (International Social Service, General Secretariat, Switzerland) in Ukraine within the framework of cooperation on international family mediation.
Tetiana is a member of the Institute for Integrative Mediation (Germany), a member of the Family Mediators Association (UK), a practicing psychologist, and a psychotherapist.
Co-trainers are practicing family mediators of ITC "Mediation School".
