Gerry presented a brief overview of the S-Model of questions described in her book "The Mediator’s Toolkit: Formulating and Asking Questions for Successful Outcomes". After which she focused on one of the methods of asking questions that can lead to a change in the paradigm of the parties' thinking: "The pathway of assumption questions". These questions explore a person's path from their observations and interpretations to the corresponding actions/reactions that stem from them. And also Gerry talked about another type of paradigm-changing question: "Other people's questions" as a means of verifying the Pathway of assumptions of a party to the conflict.
